I know i don't usually ask for help but here goes...

With the release of Supreme Preferences 3 i decided to install it, it went all well until I tried to install MMP Flip (Which i only realised was a bad thing to do after i looked at the release thread on macthemes).

I installed it and know when I boot up it starts in safe mode. I have removed MMP Flip, SP3 and Winterboard to no avail, everytime I boot (or even try to get out of it) i get the dreaded Sad iPhone.

thats overkill, i'm not thick. My iPod Still works, it's just in Safe Mode This is a compatiability problem, i'm not going to lose everthing for something that can *probably* be solved over time.

Why do some people still think this is a good advice? Everybody and his mom knows that you can always DFU restore as a last option. So you only give this advice if you are absolutely sure there is no other way to fix someones problem - otherwise better say nothing.

Try deinstalling stuff in Cydia which use a dylib one by one until it is fixed. You can take a shortcut and directly deinstall MobileSubstrate then all will be removed at once.

AFAIK you can still use cydia when in safemode, so you can download that backup app that BACKUPS your stuff, then BACKUP with itunes, then restore i, then use that BACKUP you made before to make your ipod shine again!!!

i've uninstalled everything i have done in the last 2 days (i think) but it is still not fixed. i am starting to feel that some fragments may be left on the device causing the problem. I have no idea what to do. Anything would be appreciated

Have you tried disabling all the MobileSubstrate plugins in SBSettings?

i cannot get into sbsettings because i am stuck in safe mode. It disables all plugins/extensions. the fact is that i cannot get out of it
