    Hello guys,

I am stuck in recovery mode and I tried so many things to fix it but it won't work.

The way I got my iPod to this stage is that i was trying to make my iPod Touch v2.0 for free but there was something wrong with the USB cable or something interrupted the firmware upgrade. Then i was stuck on recovery mode ever since.

    Have you tried DFU mode?

What does iTunes say when it is plugged in?

yea i tried DFU mode. I try to restore it right? my ipod disconnects and connects again when it prepares the ipod for restore. Then after a long time of "Preparing the ipod for restore", it says "The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2003)." My iPod's info cannot be shown inside iTunes.

    Name: iPod
    Capacity: n/a
    Software Version: n/a
    Serial Number: n/a

Also i tried to use iBrikr but it showed green, but when i try to restore it it says, "The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2003)" again.

I tried using iLiberty to "Jump Out of Recovery Mode" but i wait so long that the iPod just shuts itself off.

try another USB port, try another machine, you could always install itunes 7.5 and downgrade to 1.1.4

Where can i find the 1.1.4 firmware? Can I use the Jailbroken Version? Is that way sure-fire?

hey i am having almost exactly the same problem, apart from mine is because i havnt connected my ipod in ages, in fact this is the first time in over a year i have connected. Im using a different computer because my original laptop is well and truly dead, and it has wiped my ipod (which im fine with, needed tht much changing that it will be faster lol). Can you help me get it out of recovery mode?
