stuck in recov-mode after installing linux

    Hi@all

    i installed linux on my ipod 1g following the guide on linuxoniphone.blogspot.com and now i'm stuck in recoverymode

    i tryed to get back to normal mode by using ziphone or going to dfu-mode and then rebooting by pressing home and power but all i got is the recov-mode-screen

    can anybody help me?

    Bricking is virtually impossible bro.

    Get it into DFU mode and restore in iTunes. Your iPod is still fine if it has the connect to iTunes image.

    Theres a few ways to get it out of restore mode.

    I cant really think of any atm, but i know its possible.

    If you put it in DFU mode though, I dont think you can get out of that without restoring.

    Read the first sentance. If his ipod was "bricked" it would not show itunes logo, it wouldnt show anything. It would be completely inoperable.

    I wouldnt post if i was you unless you do some homework first lol

    Try using iRecovery and call fsboot. Should do the trick.
