Singleuser boot -- fsck not done
    Root device is mounted read-only

If you want to make modifications to files:
    /sbin/fsck -fy
    /sbin/mount -uw /

If you wish to boot the system:
    exit

Feb 5 20:23:40 launcher[10]: can't execute /bin/sh for single user: No such file or directory

I tried force restarting it and it just goes to this same screen. I dont know what to do. I was using ziphone to do it then i clicked kill and now the comp doesnt reconize the ipod and the only thing i can do with the ipod touch is restart it

    Please help me!
  2. Can you force it into dfu mode in ZiPhone?

I tried giving some helpful advice before doing this:

WHY THE HELL DID YOU PRESS KILL(Edit: DURING THE EFFING INSTALLATION)? WhyTF???????????????

    Isn't there a warning button???

Oh yeah and I'm not sure if DFU force will read your dead ipod...

Also: Does it show the Apple boot logo?

Edit: Does all the stuff you typed stopping before 'I tried force...' show up on the screen?

Ok, when you get this fixed, never use ZiPhone again, way too many stupid things in it.

    Also, I noticed this:

Hey man, Mine did that to and I held down the power and home button while your ipod is plugged into your computer until the itunes usb screen apears. You have to keep holding it though cause it will go black, then show the apple, then it will come up. Then you can open itunes and restore. Worked for me.
Hope this works for you too!!!

I would say the same thing plug your ipod in when its on hold down the home button and the top button then release just the top button after the ipod has completely shut off and itunes should recognize your ipod as an ipod in recovery mode and you can restore it
