stuck in DFU mode 2gen 2.2.1

    jailbroke with quickfreedom worked good loaded music and flashed not stuck in dfu mode I put into dfu mode and do a factory restore it just gets loading and flashes white screen then get error cannot restore ipod error (9)

    help please. if i bring backto apple will then know it was jailbroken

    Um, try shift clicking the normal 2.2.1 firmware once you're in DFU Mode.

    Hmm, try switching usb ports or restarting. Sometimes it's really simple.

    yes have tried other usb ports another computer with fresh itunes load and fresh 2.2.1 download from apple and doing shift restore

    Try to use redsn0w and jailrbreak it again. Sometimes it can access the arm when nothing else can.

    try using irecovery to get your ipod screen white and then restore

    Yes have tried redsn0w and Irecovery and still get the same result.

    The iPod 'iPod' could not be restored. An unknown error occured(9)

    try putting it into recovery mode then using redtool to get it out.

    if it doesnt work put it into recovery mode and take it to apple and tell them it wouldnt upgrade to 2.2.1 and they will do it for you. they did it for me. but for me i really couldnt upgrade.
