I installed PDAnet on my ipod touch 2g 3.1.2 FW and I reboot my ipod to try pdanet but i couldn't cause it was stuck at the apple logo for about 3 minutes and then a loading circle apears and after about 20 minutes like that, it restarts and does it again and again. Also when i try to make it into recovery mode, the usb to itunes logo doesn't show it only show a black screen but itunes can reconize it as an ipod touch in recovery mode.

I want to fix this without having to restore or or if I have to, I don't want to lose any data.

or maybe access the system files in recovery mode...

btw. when it restarts, it flashes a white screen for half a second

    Pls Help

Get iPhone folders and delete PDAnet or if u installed openSSH get iPhone tunnel suite connect to it, open terminal and type 'dpkg -r PDAnet'

i 'fixed' it in 2 ways

    1) let your ipod charge over night, your ipod will restart a few times
in my case my ipod was on springboard on the next day ^^

    2) try to ssh
it's difficult, because you have only ~1 min time to ssh then your ipod restarts

delete all files & folders in var/mobile/applications

if you can't ssh you have to restore :s

Yeah just delete the PDAnet files from applications, it may take 2-3 times
