This started happening when I was installing apps from Cydia while connected to my computer, and the Sync In Progress screen kept popping up. After I disconnected my iPod from my computer, I noticed that my lockscreen (MultiBarLockscreen) looked like it was missing some things, so I rebooted it using SBSettings. My iPod is now stuck at the boot logo and won't boot up. After about ten minutes, a white screen flashes up and the iPod resets itself, starting the boot process all over again.

I want to fix this problem without doing a full restore so I don't lose all my stuff. What should I do? Thanks.

I had the same problem. Here how I fixed it.

-Try to hold ''POWER'' and ''HOME'' Constantly
    (when your ipod is unplugged.)
(It will keep rebooting a couple of time)

    1. Are you on a 2G?
    2. If yes, did you use QuickPwn BETA?

Just restart the iPod. If that doesnt work then download a NOR Flash Firmware. And put it in DFU then install that. It shouldn't remove anything.

I used redTool, and I'll try the NOR flash again.

I tried NOR flashing it, but during the restore on iTunes, the Apple logo and a spinning wheel popped up on my iPod and iTunes gave me an error "The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (6)."

Thanks, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. My iPod is currently stuck in restore mode whenever I turn it on.

Well, I got tired of dealing with all this crap, so I just gave my iPod a full restore. Thanks for all the help guys!

Do you think you can tell me what you installed from cydia shortly beofre you had this problem? I'm doing a project to try and find out what's causing this issue and fix it, and I think certain packages from cydia may be to blame.
