    Developer: Adam Bell Price: $2.99
Release Date: April 10th 2012 File Size: 662 KB Cydia Source: Bigboss
Requirements: iOS 5 or later, iPhone and iPod only. Not compatible with iPad.

Passwords are what makes our devices more secure from thieves and little brothers. But what do you do if you want to add a little spice to your password? You could install AndroidLock XT, that emulates the pattern style lock on Android based device, but that's about it. Until today.

Stride a simple tweak; allows you to draw passwords on your iPhone through gestures motions. Example if you set a check mark styled design you'll draw a check mark to unleash iOS. Although after you draw the pattern, it takes over a full second before it confirms the pattern and unlocks the device.

There are two buttons are located on the 'drawboard' – one on the bottom right and one on the bottom left. The bottom left button is an arrow that allow you to return to slide to unlock. The bottom right button is a grid button – if you have a pass code set, this button will take you to the keypad so you can enter your pass code instead. If you don’t have a pass code set, it will force your iOS device to unlock without the need for drawing a pattern. Stride allows works with iOS's default PIN passcode and is recommended for a more secure device.

You can download Stride tweak for iPhone / iPod touch for $2.99 via Cydia’s Big Boss repo.

Doesn't seem like it adds more security, more like less; this way, there are more ways to access your device. If the device couldn't be unlocked without correctly drawing whatever you decide on, that would be quite different. Then, it would up to how complex you could draw.

    ^Just a thought.^

That's why the developer allowed you to set two levels of protection.

Didn't see that, that definitely makes it more secure as long as the un-locker doesn't have a secondary choice of how to unlock each level beyond what was originally set by the device owner.

im not sure if im just doing it wrong but if you hit the icon in the bottom right it just goes to setting and then you can navigate through the phone like you unlocked it legitimately.

Did you or do you have a pass code lock set? If so, what time did you set it to require the pass code? Just a couple factors to consider.

look out with plain dots for password. Seen severall post claiming that doing that renders it un-unlockable....
Hows it working out for all of you?
