I'd like to stream audio & video from my AirLink101 777W network/ip camera (or any other network camera) to my iPod 2G w/ OS 3.0 -- but it seems that the geniuses at Apple decided not to allow this natively by not allowing RTSP.

    So does anyone know...

    a) get Safari to run the audio & video using MPEG4 via Quicktime (it currently just shows a placeholder in the browser)

    or

    b) allow the Java app to run as it runs in FireFox & IE to stream MJPEG & Audio.

    or

    c) how to use another app like VLC as a middle-man in the transaction to somehow transcode both audio & video

    or

    d) some other way I don't know about?

Thanks for the help! We have a baby due in 2 weeks and I want to setup a baby cam... but video only is nearly useless with a new born.

WOW... I'm "overwhelmed" by the help... not one single reply. Sad.

The app 'AirCam' for the iPod touch lets me see what is going through my iSight built into my Macbook, look into that.
