So, I'm a registered dev at Apple and recently I updated my iTouch 2G to OS 4.0. After reboot, my iPod it's connected to iTunes, synced with him but it still display the CONNECT TO ITUNES ON THE SCREEN. I restored back to 3.1.2 with xCode. What can be the problem?

hmm i dunno what the problem could be what did itunes say when you plugged it in?

    kinda off topic:
did you have your shsh backed up when you downgraded? because i am trying to find a way to downgrade from 3.1.3

No he did not because he is a dev. Apple only sign devs with a paid account.

Is going to piss me off. I don't think is necessary to backup the SHSH. iTunes let me sync apps, music, photos etc. He tells me that my iPod runs 4.0, it shows me free mem, you know.. all things. But on my iPod screen is Connect to iTunes thing.

Run blackra1n again, dummy! Oh, my bad, that's my default "connect to iTunes" response. Did you try unplugging and then replugging into the computer?

isnt it correct to say that without being a paid reg. dev., you cant have os 4.0?
