Strange screen problem

    Sometimes when I bring it back from sleep, the screen display seems a bit less bright, washed out......and i have to put it back to sleep again, on and off until the screen will be back and the colours darker because the colour seemed to have faded away.

    What's up with that?

    i think ur Auto Brightness is On

    and that is not a problem that's only one feature of iPod touch

    I turned that feature off ages ago so it's not that.

    i have same problem after downgrade to 1.1.1
    just tryes to restore it - and problem solved
    but i wanna jailbroken ipod

    Um if you restored it at any point it will turn the auto brightness back on. It resets all the original settings to default. And default for that happens to be on.

    its not an issue of auto brightness - i think it is bug
