Wasn't sure if I should've posted this in the iTunes section or not..But it could also be something wrong with the iPod Touch itself.

When I connect my iPod Touch to the computer, iTunes pops up and says:

"An iPhone has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPhone, then try again."

Obviously the strange thing about this is that it's reading it as an iPhone...And that it won't "identify" it. This is the first time it's happened and I'm not sure why..It connected and identified it not too long ago so it must've been something.

Anyways, does anyone know what's happening?

    Thanks..

Try restarting your iPod and it might recognise it.

Funny thing is, is that the computer is still recognizing it as an iPod Touch because I get the pop-up asking if I want to browse the files on it...Yet apples iTunes doesn't recognize it's own product.

But yeah I'm sure something is wrong...

Just google it, and download the firmware.

Hmm, well nevermind about this I guess...Guess my iTunes or something was just acting up because now it's recognizing the iPod Touch, was about 7 hours or so ago when I last tried connecting it so it had to do something with the time of which I didn't have it connected..
