    Hey umm everyday when i go to school i listen to it in the car and leave it in the little compartment right at the front next to the drivers seat when i go to school. I was just wondering do u think it is bad for the battery? Also the car is usually in an underground carpark and the temperature is just under 30 degrees celcius outside the car.

    Direct from the Apple site - iPod Touch Tech specs:

    Environmental requirements

    * Operating temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)
    * Nonoperating temperature: -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C)
    * Relative humidity: 5% to 95% noncondensing
    * Maximum operating altitude: 10,000 feet (3000 m)

    So, according to Apple specs, you should be OK.

    as long as the INSIDE temperatures in your car stay within limits.
