Has anyone else felt this was an issue?

Laying in bed on my side reading a website on my ipod touch.
The ipod always wants to flip to horizontal mode, but because I am on my side I want it to stay in vertical mode...

Is there a setting I can turn on to avoid this?

There used to be an application called "NoTurnSafari" but that's only for 1.1.4.

When you are laying on your side, let the ipod go into landscape but if you tilt it any more in that direction it won't go back to portrait. This is because the ipod won't let you view Safari completely upside down. This will allow you too look at safari on your side but only in landscape.

    horizontal view

I'd like to read email in horizontal, but for some reason this doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong?

Download SBSettings and the Rotation Inhibitor toggle from Cydia.
Keeps your iPod apps (iPod, Mail, Safari, etc.), in portrait mode.
