Stop searching for glory, it will find you.

What I mean by this is that the glory of making your own jailbreak is really superfluous. Make something else, a guide, a tutorial, something. There are already at least 4 or 5 different methods to do this, only one of them an actual jailbreak and not a Soft Upgrade.
    Look.
gojohnnyboi, do you really need to make 3 threads on your jailbreak?

So you see, the glory is not in actually making the jailbreak, but not confusing newcomers to the board with 5 or 6 different methods of jailbreak and instead pointing them to the good one. I find this absolutely ridiculous and completely agree with SkylarEC in the fact that this scene has too many cliches. There are at least 5 or 6 different methods! One can work. The others are unneeded.

    End of rant.

i agree with you, we only need one thread on a jailbreak itself, (even if it's not, e.g. a soft upgrade)

i'm still on my 1.1.3 waiting for a strong proper jailbreak for 1.1.3, let alone 1.1.4.

I just feel that the teams are getting ridiculous, accusing each other and the whole quarrel that went on in the DevCom Team's jailbreak between Chris and David...

I completely agree with you. Yes, I did start my own dev team, but the apps we're making aren't stolen from anyone else, and they sure aren't another jailbreak method!

By the way Spoonforknife, I repped you, where the hell's my llama?
