stolen i touch

    someone stole my itouch & then changed my password....how did this happen

    So you got back the ipod? If so ask the person who stole it for the password if not dfu mode restore should get it back
    Also if you have openSSH installed, you can remove the passcode. Just search in this forum for it or google it.

    Is that comment really needed? Are you that dense that you don't know what the OP is saying? Are you that high and mighty in the Apple Organization that you feel offended? And it must be terrible for such an expert like you to read these kind of comments, after all you have been a member of this forum for almost 2 months now.

    If you have your iPod back, then you should be able to use it without a problem. I believe that syncing it with the iTunes account that it was with when you set the password will remove it. If you don't have your iPod, then I don't think there's anything you can do.
