    You're still ignoring the Exploits. The iPod Touch and iPhone were designed to be portable media devices. To leave you Untethered to a Power Source. Yes you can push your device to the limits, but why? It was designed to keep you entertained for long periods of time, not to keep you entertained for 1 Hour than Splat.

    what about those sites that have tv shows and movies? what about southparkstudios ....i dont wanna buy every episode of sp from itunes when its free.

    I torrent all my shows. But still think of the resource toll on your device. Internet Access (Be it Wifi or 3G or Edge) takes up a LOT of battery power. Couple that with Flash rendering, your device won't stand a Chance.

    that is right but still occasional browsing wont harm the battery to the point of recharging..looking at a cnet or gizmodo video wont kill the batteries.

    Then you have to worry about the Flash exploits and the device heating up to High hell. What is the only way that the device is being cooled?
