I posted about this before and didn't get an answer. Although i would really like to get some songs on my iPod, there has to be a way to fix this.

When i connect my iPod to my computer via USB Charger, Windows pops up a bubble saying device found, so i know it is not the USB port. I open iTunes and my iPod just won't connect. i cannot add any songs or anything for that matter.

Things I've tried to do to fix this problem.
    1) Restart Computer.
    2) Re-install iTunes. Then restart.
    3) Use different USB port and different cable.
    4) Other iPods do connect to iTunes (they ask to be named)
    5) I have the newest version of iTunes and the 3.1.2 jailbreak and i will NOT restore...

Pleaseeee help me. i want music on my iPod.

If you got a 2G no jailbreak will be tethered, and you can stay on 3.1.2 by SHift+restore with ipsw file. And by 50 apps, cydia apps or pirated?

going into DFU or recovery should make itunes be able to see it. It happens to me like 6 times last week, got stuck at apple logo and had to DFU and restore.
