The Mighty steve has cracked, has any other people noticed how much he bulls****d that press conference? for instance he says that all phones have this "deathgrip" problem just so he makes it looks like his all-not-so-mighty iphone is still a good phone, but just shares the problem that all phones "have". and like when that person asked steve that question:

I mean are you serious steve? it only happens in certain areas? lol i couldnt stop laughing when he said that.

lastly, steve's solution to the problem? give those people who want, a free case, which doesnt even fix the problem, it just hides it.

I think I'm losing all faith in Steve Jobs right now

Maybe he's on Verizon? And not AT&T.

That would have nothing to do with it, considering it's a hardware issue and not a carrier-dependent issue.

None of my verizon phones have ever had any reception issues, even when gripped with a full hand.

It's a different EM wave type, so it would make a difference.

The antenna issue does seem to be location based. Some people can't get it to happen at all, and the ones that can say that it only happens when they're in specific places. More than likely low reception areas are the worst hit by it

Yea people complain about the antenna. it follows the outside of the shell.

I am in agreement that it's very... Child-like to say that the issue isn't a big deal because "other phones do the same thing".

Other phones having the same problem doesn't justify the iPhone having a terribly placed external antenna.

Some people just don't want to believe what people (Apple in this case) tell them is true.

If they had that part where the two antenna join in the top right, it would be perfect. They just happened to choose the worst possible place
