So I updated my iTunes to 7.7 last night and then today went to update my Touch to the new iPhone 2.0 software update. But it is saying server error, etc.

I went to a direct link for the 2.0 and downloaded it. While trying to set it up, my Touch crashed and forced me into restoring and losing all music, videos, podcasts, and the January update. Now I'm screwed and waiting for this stupid update to arrive... it better be good because Ive been waiting forever and now I have nothing.

why didn't you backup your data before upgrading? just try again updating to 2.0, it will work, trust me. there's no reason why it shouldn't work.

If you could do that why would apple even have an Ipod touch?

I hope you go buy an unactivated Iphone, and realize exactly how wrong you are.

It may be 100$ cheaper today. But when you activate it tomorrow, it will only be 40$. And in 1 month, it will be 20$ more. And after 2 months, it will be 80$ more.

    Catch my drift?
