I'm beginning to notice a recurring pattern of issues with Griffin microphones and headphones. The wire always tends to break at the connector to the device.

This seems to be a design flaw common to all their wired products. These products include Griffin SmartTalk (something that's commonly recommended in these forums) and the Griffin Tunebuds.

Just check the 1 and 2 star reviews.

I have the Smarttalk and must say ive had no problems at all

if u have one of their products, just try not to bend the part where the wire meets the connector (unplug heaphone before wrapping them around your ipod)
