Start menu or sorts using mobile substrate

    Yes I'm going on a theme here XD

    Basically what this would do is be similar to mobile stacks except that you would press the carrier name and a menu or launcher of sorts would pop up like that in windows mobile. Also because it would positioned just over the carrier name the safari status bar function should continue to work.

    My aim is to have something like that on windows mobile or I guess kinda like the Finder bars main menu. It would contain basic functions like a few settings, power options, and possibly a few application links.

    The only issue I have found in the idea so far is what to do about applications that go full screen. My first instinct tells me that you could insert a special button using mobile substrate and the application would listen for a response from the item on the status bar, so that it doesn't interfere with the iphone in full screen or sideways orientation.

    However I am not completely sure if this can be done with mobile substrate.

    dude if you can make it then im all for it otherwise i dont think well ever see this
