    Woo Hoo!!! 1st Post!!! I love this site!!!

    I searched pretty extensively for this before I posted because it's such a small thing that I figured someone would have fixed it by now:

    Is there a way to get my iPod Touch star ratings to show up in iTunes?

    With my previous iPods, I used the star rating system to keep my music fresh...

    * = Hate it (deleted)
    ** = Don't really like it (deleted)
    *** = just ok or maybe the girlfriend liked it but I didn't
    **** = great song
    ***** = NEVER delete from my iPod

    With my Touch, I noticed that when I rate songs on the iPod, those ratings don't show up in iTunes, so I can't find what I want to delete easily. Does anybody know how to make the star ratings show up in iTunes

    Thanks!?

    They should be to the right of the song name/artist etc.

    Scroll to the right.

    The "Rating" FIELD is there, but it's always empty, no matter how many songs I've rated. It's completely blank (I tried to sort it ascending and decending). Any thoughts?

    Strange, I fiddled around with it and now they work. I can rate, sort, etc on the iPod from the iTunes window. I changed my settings so that I manually manage music and videos, and I sync my contacts, calendar, etc. automatically. I still dont' know what the actual problem was, but it works now.
