For those in the UK you'll probably know that BBCi player is now compatible on the ipod/iphone via wi-fi, I was coming back from college on a WI-FI free bus and thought yes, I can watch BBCi and watch top gear or something. So i logged into BBCi player and the blue button that usually appears on the video image to play the video wasn't there. First I thought it must be the BBCi player not working but it works fine on my home WI-FI. Then today i found out when i used my ipod on the stage coach wi-fi again that is uses vodafone internet-which blocks sites it deems inappropriate, such as bebo, meebo and it must be blocking video content from BBCi. Whats the point in spending all that money on wi-fi for your buses to to just block video content which is regulated by the goverment and BBC trust who are they to say its inappropriate. It just seems all abit stupid and pointless.
