sshs applications how to?

    i lost my cord and im kinda broke so i want to know to put applications from my itunes to my ipod from ssh

    1. Download OpenSSH from Cydia
    2. Download an FTP Client (ex. FileZilla)
    3. Under "Host" put your IP Address
    4. Under "User", put "root"
    5. As "Password", put "alpine"
    6. Transfer files, set permissions to 755 or 777

    I know how to ssh but how can i put like apps like beejive and stuff through ssh?

    how do you change the permissions?

    In Terminal:

    chmod (Whatever number you want the permissions to be) (Path to file)

    Example:

    chmod 777 /Applications/Stocks.app

    Ive followed your instructions but i couldnt get my ipod connected to my laptop. can u help me make a screen shot?

    I'd recommend getting WinSCP instead.

    Ahhhh, you trickster you. Suckering the naive people here into helping you pirate applications.

    You can just get your Apps from the Mobile App Store. Sure it'll take a bit longer, but hey, gives you time to find a new iPod cable.
