    ok i'm not sure if this is in the right section or anything but oh well.

    Ok the problem is that i'm on firmware 2.2 on my ipod touch and when i try to SSH the trial version of hidepod onto it it doesn't work, when i try to open Hidepod it just crashes. Before you waste posts on asking why i don't just get it from installer or cydia, the reason is that the hidepod source doesn't support installer 4.0 and for some reason the sleepers.net source causes cydia to crash upon opening.

    Ok the things i have tried are:

    1) Setting perrmisions to 0755(this includes all inside the .app folder)
    2) Setting permissions to 0775(same as above)
    3) Creating "Documents" folders in /Applications and var/mobile/

    any help would be much apprecaited, i've tried almost everything i can find on the internet

    You need to download an app in cydia called "gUIcache" and run it every time you ssh an app

    Or maybe its because its the 1.1.4 version of hidepod..

    Thanks

    thanks for the really fast reply, i'll try it now, i have a m8 that has hidepod on a 2.2 before the sleepers.net source went crazy.

    EDIT::

    nope still doesn't work, it gest to the stage of showing what the default pass is then closes
