ssh????????????

    when i ssh into my ipod i put soemthing into the apps folder
    set the permission
    i go onto my ipod restart it then the app that i put in there doesnt show up
    what do i do

    When you say RESTART the iPod, do you hold the button at the top left until is says Slide to Power Off and then Slide to Power off? I would try this first.

    ummm obviously
    this isnt my first time sshing into an ipod
    of course i waited for the slide to unlock to come up
    any suggestions

    Just respring with Summerboard, and make sure you actually put the whole app into the folder, and set permissions.

    My Bad, worked that out by your post count but worth a try anyway. The only other time I had this problem I was putting a back up app onto my ipod after a firmware upgrade, and it didn't appear. Turned out my back up had not completed - the folder was there but nothing inside it!

    Does this happen for just one app or all you try?

    whats the directorie of the place your puttin the apps.
