SSH without WIFI

    hey, first of all i own the jailbroken iPod Touch 2G ...

    is it possible to connect my ipod to ssh without wifi ?? i found a couple of tutorials but none of them help me ... i keep getting the same damn error! i think it just doesnt work with the 2G or?

    Does it say its for the touch? If not it might be for the iphone. Just a suggestion about the tutorials.

    1. get open ssh installed on ur touch
    2.downlaod iphone tunnel
    3. find a tutorial on how to use iphone tunnel

    yeah but how do i get open ssh installed on my ipod without wifi?

    you need a wireless connection(router) to your ipod in the network you're in. not necessarily an internet connection, but a connection to your ipod. then, go into settings and get to your wifi page. when you're connected to a router, press the blue arrow on the table cell that says your router, and it should tell you your ip address. connect to it in an ssh client.

    but i only have a cable router, not a wireless one

    If you have a mac, try sharing the Ethernet connection over Wifi to your iPod

    Try looking for a usb program like diskaid. Im not sure if they work though.
