Right, i have 2.0 jailbroken with Cydia 2.0 bla bla bla.. OpenSSH installed.

I connect to my iPod Touch perfectly..

Then when I try to insert applications(e.g. cracked monkey ball) manually into the /Applications folder, it doesn't let me and it comes up with some strange error saying:

    ERROR

    Error listing directory '/private/var/Applications/'
    No such file or directory
    Error code: 2.
Error message from server, no such file.
    Request code: 11.

I thought this was just a problem with my previous jailbroken 2.0 iPod Touch, so I done a clean restore back to 2.0 etc.. But still same problem.

I also re-installed the WinSCP program, and have tried many other FTP progs such as CuteFTP and iPhoneBrowser etc..

Can someone please help me? No flaming please as i'm new and after all this is my first post, and I HAVE used the search button.

    Thanks to all in advance

go to root. then double click on the Applications folder. you should get that error again. press ok. then go back once. then go to applications again. should open. then go drag your monkey ball in, set permissions. and respring

For the applications error, go to the / folder then go to commands and hit clear chache and it will work.

You're lucky you can SSH. I can't seem to find OpenSSH. >_< Am I the only person here who doesn't have SSH?
