Hey, does anyone know what folder to drag .mp4s into via SSH? I can't use Itunes atm, and want to chuck on a video.

    Thanks

Simple answer is you can't do this and watch them in the player. The videos (and music) are stored in a "database" file(s) in the "iTunes_Control" folder, they aren't individual files.

You CAN put single video files on the iPod to watch anytime in another program though. I use MxTube and I put video files in the "MxTube" folder found in "/private/var/mobile/Media/MxTube" on a 1.1.3 (it would be "root" instead of mobile on a 1.1.2). You won't get a thumbnail this way, but you CAN watch the video through MxTube. That's about as much help as I can give you sorry.

I tried the MX option before, and it didn't work.

What DID work though, was copying it into the itunes F04 folder and renaming it the same name as a podcast I no longer want. And deleting the original podcast.

When I click that podcast in videos, it opens my other video
