You could SSH music into /mobile/Media/downloads and play it from dTunes, but there's no way to SSH mp3s into your normal media player's library.

there isnt a way to just drop mp3's into your ipod app.
you'd need to edit the itunesDB file in your iTunes_Control folder to have it include the added songs, but even then, you'd need to file the songs according to the iPod's filesystem.

in short, it cant be done.

    i would say use pwnplayer.
its a mobilemusicplayer clone, but it supports file system playback. I.e., drop your mp3s into a folder, select that folder in pwnplayer, and play through there. It's really a great clone of mobilemusicplayer.

Sorry, you'll have to buy a new USB cord. There is no way to SSH music so that it is playable by the default iPod application. However, you will be able to play your music via AVPlayer, dTunes, PwnPlayer, or iFile.
