I keep trying to manually add apps into /private/var/mobile/Applications

but the apps won't show up on my iPod.

I set all the permissions to 755.

I also think that one of the problems may be that my applications folder looks funny, here's a screenshot: http://www.ifans.com/forums/imgcache/23387.png

what I am trying to add to my iPod is in the DOCUMENTS folder. its the second to last file.

does anyone know what i can do to fix this?

Your /Applications/ folder should look nothing like that!

Try /private/var/stash/ Your applications folder is in there. The other applications folder is where the appstore installs applications. The stash folder is where the original apps are, and you can add applications here.
