Okay so when i tried to SSh into my iPod it didn't work. i try 2 more times it still doesn't work. Then i check NetServices and it says my SSH is off, so i turn it back on then exit NetServices. I try again and it still doesn't work, so i go back to NetServices and it says my SSH is off ? then i down;load bossprefs and it says my SSH is off so i turn it back on and close the app, then when i look at it again it is turned off.

so i think my iPod is not saving the settings.

Do you even have OpenSSH installed? If not then that might be the problem.

    Troubleshooting:
Try re-installing Services. Restart the iPod touch and the computer.
Check the IP Address. Make sure the IP Address in your iPod touch and SFTP/SSH matched together.
Make sure you put the right password. Default Password is: alpine

Maybe something you recently installed in your iPod caused the SSH is messed up. Uninstall those programs you recently installed, like before the SSH starting messing up. Then try SSHing again.

Try running net services, turn on ssh, then put your ipod to sleep and turn it back on, go to net services, and turn ssh on again.

Did you change your firewall settings on your computer?
