Are you using WinSCP? You might want to try iFunBox or DiskAid for accessing your device through the USB cable rather than WiFi (links to these progs in my sig).

I tried with terminal on linux (ubuntu 8.10), filezilla, putty y el winscp and nothing.

i have installed BossPrefs and it's turned on, and in terminal on my ipod with ssh it shows like on the service...

Strange.. All WiFi connections working okay? Have you set up WinSCP as per this thread here?

Well I don't know if you done this, But I installed Open SSH with cydia and after no luck on the PC, I also installed Toggle SSH with cydia.
After I installed toggle, It worked perfectly on the PC.

I installed Toggle SSH and it placed a program on my desktop, but after I opened it I only had had two options Enable or Disable. I When I click on Enable it just sits there doing nothing (I let it sit for a long time too.) I had also tried Open SSH with no success, so I'm out of ideas. Maybe I should try i-funbox next, don,t get me wrong I figure it's operator error on my end, but maybe someone can drag me into the light.

Your using ubuntu? Man You should have told me, I figured it out how to do on ubuntu.

First go to "Places", Then click on "Connect to Server"

Select SSH as the Service Type
    Screenshot-Connect to Server.png

^ is easy to see what to do when is open from the screenshot.

Then press connect, It will ask for a password, write
    alpine

    and Tada it opens

All you need on the ipod touch is SSH enabled

And to quit the connection, Just go to File on the SSH ipod window, and select Unmount Volume.
