How can I manually SSH music to be played on my ipod touch running FW 2.0 via SSH? Can I do that and be able to play the music on the ipod touch?

    1) Install dTunes from Cydia
    2) SSH music (as mp3's) to /User/Library/Downloads
    3) Open dTunes and play music

That's the best you're going to get now.

I dont think you can do it, since the song has to have a id3 tag and the only way to get that is to upload it to itunes.

Or do it his way/\ /\ But i dont hink you can actually ssh it into the default music player

does dtunes work with 2.0? Because it does not appear in Cydia for me. I think my cydia has problems updating lately. it just says download realese.gpt and then it just says Error on top.

Yes, dTunes is only for 2.x

Go into Terminal (Installable through Cydia; Telesporeo source which is always up), and type this:

    su

    alpine

    apt-get install com.yourcompany.dtunes

    killall SpringBoard
