I know I have seen other threads but upon searching didn't find anything. Can I/ Is it possible to do this to make it play in my default media player? IE the one that is ON the iPod Touch?

Without Mewseek, no. The music is codesigned. But Mewseek might be able to help; download the trial version from Cydia.

I found the folder where the music is iTunes_Control, but it is all like: SADF.mp3, I could just SSH it into there?

As I said, I'm pretty sure that for the music to appear it needs to be codesigned with a special code from iTunes. Otherwise, it won't appear there. However, Mewseek can hack the codesigning and add your music to the player.

No, those files are all linked with an encrypted database iTunes writes and your iPod touch reads when you put songs on it. I think there are iTunes alternatives that work with the iPod touch/iPhone but I don't know much about that. Also MewSeek Pro can do this from your iPod touch, although I think there are a few little glitches with it.

Then select "Manually Manage Music and Videos" in iTunes and that problem with be gone.

You can't SSH it, but you can i-Funbox it. Which is very similar to SSH, but you have to have your iPod/iPhone connected to the computer via USB. I do it all the time to put music on my iPod and iPhone!
