SSH into ipod question ..please help

    i have a 1.1.2 ipod touch , but i did not jailbreak it.

    can i still SSH into my ipod touch if my itouch is did not jailbreak?

    No you must jailbreak to use SSH.

    no you cannot, you have to jailbreak 1.1.2 in order to have your ipod be able to be ssh'd into...

    There are various programs that will basically copy all of the ipod's files to your hard drive, but iTunes already backs up your preferences and the like (I'm not sure what else exactly). Other than that, there is no way to access your files your itouch through a file browser without it already being jailbroken. I was able to find in a search though that you can copy files to an itouch through windows media player, but im not sure if you can copy files from it. heres the link: http://www.mgtek.com/dopisp/

    Yup, it's called Ste Packaging. If you already see that in Installer that means that Source is already installed. You can delete that and add it again by typing this source: repo.smxy.org/iphone-apps

    i was just wondering why u would post if you don't know the answer to the question

    just dont post if u don't know the answer period

    to the actual question: just search around

    install allipodhax's repo and it will be in there called "Open SSH"
