SSH in 2.0?

    i saw in a thread you could still ssh into your ipod with 2.0 using the same "alpine" password... how is this possible?... was openssh ported or what?... sorry if this is a noob question... but i can't figure it out

    Just install openssh from cydia. Works just fine.

    OpenSSH probably didn't need to be ported. It was not an an application that uses Apple's API's for interfaces and such, so it may have "just worked".

    Sorry im new to OpenSSH, how can i send files to my ipod, i installed openssh and tried to connect my mac to my ipod touch using the terminal as it was in the guide in cydia...

    use winscp you connect to root on port 22

    use the ip address from your wireless network

    and the password is alpine
