SSH: How to turn ON/OFF

    Install BossPrefs, there's a toggle for it there

    BossPrefs doesnt work well use Toggle SSH its for sure works and never switches back until you actually switch it.

    okay instead of making a new thread i thought id ask here



    QUESTION:

    How do i get rid of my wallpaper/theme/winterboard/whatever? I want to get my touch back to normal background/icons

    Please Register or Log in to view images



    also how do i delete wallpapers/themes from winterboard?

    What's the point of turning off SSH?
    It doesn't use any battery unless you're talking to the daemon.
    Otherwise, it's just there like any other launch daemon; not using any of your battery.

    according to the ipod touch reference on this forum; SSH does waste a little battery

    Well, the wiki is wrong.
    Maybe dropbear wasted battery, but OpenSSH doesn't.
    I mean come on, read the FAQs right in Cydia.

    Please, don't act like you about it if you don't.
    SSH isn't a process; the daemon is.
    When you're talking to it, there is a process.
    When you're not, it's a service and there is no process.
    It doesn't constantly listen like dropbear.

    I think SSH does use battery, im not 100% sure but i think it does
