    Here is a guide on how to SSH into your ipod touch, any gen, or iphone, any gen,

    STEP 1: first ( you HAVE to be jailbroken ) get OpenSSH from cydia.....

    u can enable it in BossPrefs, also from cydia....

    STEP 2: u need WinSCP,( on computer ) if windows, or cyberduck, if mac, im not sure on cyberduck on how to use, because im on windows....

    Anyways once u get that downloaded, run it...

    itll ask you for a Host name, username, and password.....
    Hostname = ur IP Address (on device ),

    to view that go to , settings, wi-fi, click on the blue arrow on your network...and there it is...put that in for your hostname ... example. 192.168.0.123 ( no thats not my IP )

    ok your username and password ( by default ) will be...

    username= root

    password= alpine

    you can change ur password by using Terminal ( theres a guide on cydias home page)

    after that...click Save, name it something, and check Save password ( recommended) and then click ok, log in to it, then making sure SSH is enabled on your device, it will log in, if it asks you anything, just click Ok,

    next a new window should pop up,

    you can see all the files on your device, you can copy them, edit them, replace them, import files...etc..

    thats about it....

    Where to find stuff

    click backspace until you are just \

    here you can find Applications ,all your applications on your device, ( cydia apps )

    [redacted]

    to find your themes on winterboard ( yes u can edit them, add stuff)

    press backspace all the way back to \

    go into \Library

    then go to \Themes

    here are all your themes!

    to view the .png files in to Icons folder in the theme folder your in drag them into your documents and then click on them, u can edit them in photoshop or whatever,

    after you made changes, maybe made new icons....

    If you changed an icon: just make sure its named EXACTLY the same as the name of the .png file in the Icons folder, then it will overwrite,

    FOR ADDING NEW ICONS:

    All you have to do is make an icon ( 60 x 60 usually) name it the app you want it to change example

    NFSU.png

    YES ALL ICONS MUST! HAVE THE .png EXTENSION!

    AND YES THEY MUST BE .png

    you can change them to .png and the dimension and all with photoshop..

    in photoshop... when u save it, you can chose the file type

    in photoshop...to change the dimensions, go to the Image tab at the top

    go to the Image size option

    and in the drop down menu thing, make it pixels and make it 60 x 60
