Open Fugu, go to Preferences >Known Hosts, Then delete everything in Known Hosts. Shut Fugu down and restart. You should then be able to connect.

Guess I am chasing you between "discussiions" and "jailbreak"
Since you ask the question on both.

You are using lowercase "root" and port 22?

Connection refused says that there is no connection with the ipod. did you see my post on the other forum to you about cydia?

Your ip address on the first line

    root on the second

22 in the port (3rd line)

    just leave the directory empty

You just need to install the Cydia Packager. Then uninstall the old openssh and reinstall the one from Cydia.
