SSH help

    please help me installing SSH i dont know what is it and i dont know how to install it ?? HELP !!?

    go into Installer. go to the Install screen at the bottom, scroll down to "System", scroll down to "OpenSSH" click on that, then hit Install at the top of the screen. now SSH is installed and running.

    i did that on my jb 1.1.3 ipod but it's not showing up on the desktop. it's in the uninstall list so i know it's downloaded but the icon isn't showing up. anyone know why and can help?

    I just also want to know how to turn SSH on and off at will, and not download a program where it's always on. It uses up battery when you dont need it.

    OpenSSH doesnt show up anywhere. its just a service, not an application. its always on unless you download something like Services.app, and turn it off.

    umm can i fix my installer with OpenSSH and without a computer ??

    here's another dumb question. how do i find out my ipod's ip in order to input it into cuteftp?

    Settings ->WiFi -> Current Network -> IP Address

    go into Settings > WiFi > find your network in the list, and click on the blue arrow next to it (not on the network itself) and it will tell you your IP in that window
