This is a discussion thread for the "Square Off: Nexus 4 vs. iPhone 5" story posted on the front page.
Cool icon for the article! I'm going to get a Nexus 4, based purely on getting a very good phone at a very good price and I would also like to experience Android.
Dang, the Nexus 4 has beefier specs and is less than half the price unsubsidized. -_- cmon apple the iPhone isn't worth $650, MAYBE with cydia but thats pushing it
I plan on getting the note2, and I love the price of the nexus4. but I dont think it has a SD card slot tho
Nexus 4 is far superior to the iPhone 5. I would say the operating systems are about equal, but I'd put iOS 6 ahead in terms of every day usage. Certainly Android is more 'customizable,' but I prefer iOS 6. If I could have a Nexus 4 running iOS 6, I'd be a happy guy.
I think the Nokia 1100 beats both of these phones because neither of these phones can play snake with a numpad.
Yes I would, I'm very bored/tired of my iPhone, only thing I'm going to miss is the Dev support from all the great apps, Like right now my Favorite Game on iOS is The Walking Dead, & other great media creation apps (Photo Editing, Video editing etc) but I plan on either getting the next iPad or Next iPad Mini for my iOS Needs, and using the Note2 as my Main Phone.
You can play walking dead on consoles aswell if you have one of them. The note2 is only 2 inches smaller than the iPad Mini
My brother has a iPad3 and its nice and all but its to heavy for me to enjoy the apps, I haven't seen a iPad mini in person but from videos it seems like the perfect iOS size, and being My work schedule is a mess, on my break I sneak in alil walking dead gameplay, its such a great game, I was planing on buying it for my console, but all my console does is collect dust sadly, I'm guessing no plans on a 32gig model Nexus4? I mean 32Gig to me is the sweet spot nowadays
