This is a discussion thread for the "Sprint's LTE Network Unofficially Launches in San Francisco Bay Area" story posted on the front page.
Wow, Sprint is really catching up. Their LTE is as fast as everyone elses HSPA+! /s In all fairness, I don't understand why Sprint is so incredibly slow compared to everyone else. When AT&T's LTE was first launched, people got 50+mbps. 13mbps (with barely any traffic) is quite pitiful. Considering people still get around 20mbps on AT&T LTE in higher-traffic areas, who knows how well they will perform later on... Oh well. Nobody likes Sprint anymore anyway. "Unlimited" doesn't mean "good service." I can find an iPhone 4s locked to sprint for $200 (sometimes less) in new condition on Craigslist anyday. Nobody wants them.
