    Asking for parts of the firmware is illegal, so I would suggest [to avoid getting banned] removing or editing your original post; that also applies for the guy above me. The mods wouldn't be happy to see you disobeying the rules.

    its not part of the firmware. it is a .strings file which hold all of the text from the ipod touch such as slide to unlock, enter passcode, and stuff like that.

    And where is this .strings file held? In the firmware.

    well i just opened the .ipsw and i do not see that file. so no it is not in the firmware.

    thru the firmware but if you open the ipsw its not actually a file located when you open the firmware. it is just a few codes who cares how is it bad? i already sent it to him and he is satisfied so i did my job and im done here.
