I have a 3g 32gb iPod. My problem is that when I apply a theme to the springboard, the springboard becomes very slow and laggy. Like when I swipe from one page to another its not smooth. This seems to only happen when theming the icons, I can theme the dock and have animated wallpapers without a problem. So can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.

You could try respringing, or use SBSettings to free up the memory.

Its been like it for over a month now, since I got my iPod and Jailbroke it. I've resprung, rebooted and rejailbroken. Still its the same. I have not restored and rejailbroken though, I'm hoping I can avoid that so I don't have to go through putting all my apps and music back in.

I've had this problem to tell you the truth, I think it's caused by too many apps on your springboard, usually hiding/removing some apps would help. But that's why I only have one page of apps now lol. Doesn't lag, easy to theme

I never had this problem with my First or Second gen iPods though. And are you aware that you just turned into an iPod touch Zealot?

Yea, me neither. I've never had a laggy springboard because of icons lol, but I don't know, I just don't keep them all on my springboard anymore. And wow, I didn't notice haha. I'm a zealot, *reminisces of old StarCraft days*

Maybe I will start using categories again and just have files on one screen. It just gets fiddly when you want to make small changes.

I'd actually recommend Stacks v3 over Categories though. I actually just have like 5 Stacks and the Music app on my dock and that's it.

You can download Stacks v3 here.
