Springboard lagging or touchscreen failing?

    i can click on anything on the dock with no lag at all but i touch anything up top such as settings and calculator it takes almost 4-5 clicks for it to recognize it to open, ive already restored it also.

    EDIT: ok i think its something to do with springboard because i can open it if i wait for like 5 seconds after another app closes, im just a speedy person so thats going to annoy me.

    have you synced with itunes yet?

    ive synced with itunes yes, also i went outside with my Ipod and my ipod got really cold and it worked and came inside and had same problem, was really odd. im starting to think its oily skin or oily screen.

    You should not have this problem you may have a defective screen just take it to apple and they should give you a new one. If you have any questions just ask me.

    restore it first though before returning it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
