step 4 says "assuming the sbpatcher.tar.gz file is in /var/root", so i would put it in "/var/root".
then navigate to the folder in terminal and run the steps.

but really, you could place it anywhere. just make sure you navigate to that folder (whatever folder you choose to place the file) first before executing the steps.

I just did it and the terminal responded like how it should..and after ~30secs it respringed..but I still have the No Service carrier message.

    Any ideas?

    Edit:

Hmm interesting, I renamed the plist back to M68AP.plist and copied back the N45AP.plist and it worked. Guess this is an all in one package.
I suddenly got the Contacts app and the carrier is now iPod :)
Settings is also the normal iPod settings now.

HOWEVER, iTunes wouldn't recognize my iPod and keeps asking me to restore.

    Any ideas?

If no one has a solution I guess I'll have to redo it all over and sync in the music first...

Can anyone who has done this try to open itunes and see if your ipod can be recognised? thanks

I did the s3delta patch and it worked like a charm. The iPhone applications are there, the wiggly icons work, and all is well. Thanks for the first post amigo.

We should get this renamed to State that this FIX is for NATETRUE's Method, not the official DEV TEAM ONE
