SpringBoard "fix"

    Maybe you forgot to set the springboard file's permission to 0755. That's what got me. I was still able to ssh into it so i was able to fix it. I was worried i would have to restore and lose everything after i put in a long time jailbreaking to 1.1.3.

    It works!!!! Thank you so much! Even though I stupidly already bought the $20 app pack...oh well. It'll be used later when the real jailbreak comes around.

    Ummm just so some n00bs know..."chmod -x" is just changing the permissions to 0755 in winscp or a program like that. If that helps...

    HERES THE FILE TO ALL THOSE WHO COULDNT GET IT PATCHED . I did wat the said and got the patched file and ill upload it but can someone change the permissions to 0755 and upload it again, by putting it into a folder and compressing it??

    I have tried everything on this thread a million times. I am convinced this method does not work with on my jailbroken 1.1.3 for some reason.

    Can you use CuteFTP and set the permissions to 755 and then post it and i can help u more aLLEy. I found a way to do it.

    Thanks for this. I hated the fact that I had to get rid of my other language keyboards because iphone does not support them. Now this is perfect. :)

    Is the patched file supposed to be 0KB?
