Springboard crash help...

    My springboard crashed and i restarted springboard from winterboard at least 3 times but its still in exit safe mode. Ive tried rebooting but its still in exit safe mode... any other methods i can try ;(

    Try uninstalling winterboard in safe mode...I'm pretty sure it isn't compatible with iOS4 anyway, which is probably what is causing your problems.

    It's not because of Winterboard, so keep it there. I hate people just collecting posts like ibiza.
    So first of all, think back what you installed lately, before you came into the crash loop. When you remember it, remove it over Cydia via Safe mode. If you have no idea what it could be, try to remove all Packages you downloaded from cydia, so you theoretically have a fresh JB device. If it still crashes you can just restore and re-jailbreak

    I agree, its probally a random app. If you have anything that appears to do nothing, it probaly does nothingand us causing it to exit to safe mode.
    It usualy happens with apps that affect the spring board in some way like "SB Rotator", I had it and my ipod crashed 5 times in 10 minutes!!!
    Other wise it is something that affects memory (ram not the memory you store apps on) like.memory tap that also made my ipod crash heaps.

    Come to think of it... i had downloaded proswitcher right before it. Okay lemee try to remove it.
